Programs/Events: Staff Tribute Program, 2011-2012
Dear Souderton Area School District Parent/Guardian:
It is very hard to think that another school year is coming to a close. It has been a year of learning, growth, and accomplishments for the students in our schools. And, we certainly can’t overlook the bonds formed between students and teachers that will last a lifetime!
Once again this year, the Souderton Area Education Foundation would like to join with parents and guardians who wish to show their appreciation to a special teacher or support person who helped their child during the year. Our “Staff Tribute Program” enables you to recognize the important contributions teachers and others have made this past school year for your child…by making a gift in the name of that faculty member to the Souderton Area Education Foundation.
The Souderton Area Education Foundation was established in 1992 to attract private funds for innovative and creative programs to improve our students’ over-all educational experience. Since then, each year many businesses and corporations, as well as individuals – including parents and guardians – have supported the work of the Education Foundation. The Staff Tribute Program provides a very unique way for you to help us continue this work.
Your gift will be recognized by the Education Foundation, and the teacher or support person you honor with a donation to the Souderton Area Education Foundation will be awarded a certificate in your name and in the names of other parents who join in your appreciation.
Please use the donor form to indicate the faculty member you wish to recognize and your contribution. And, if you have any questions about the Souderton Area Education Foundation or the Staff Tribute Program, feel free to contact Frank Gallagher at 215-723-6061.
Lastly, please remember…it takes more than dollars and good teachers to give our children the tools they need to succeed…it takes parents and guardians who care. Thank you for your support in the education of our community’s future leaders.
